About Optiml

Optiml is transforming real estate with Real Estate Decision Intelligence (REDI), an AI-powered decision technology that helps decarbonize buildings while optimizing asset and portfolio financial performance. Our platform helps investors, owners, and asset managers make clearer capital allocation and decarbonisation decisions by translating complex regulatory, financial, and technical constraints into actionable renovation and investment plans. Founded as an ETH Zurich spin-off, Optiml launched its first product in April 2024 and is now scaling across Europe and the US, with teams based in Zurich, London, and across Germany.

The opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious Enterprise Account Executive (m/f/d) to build and own Optiml's enterprise pipeline across the UK commercial engine in a high-growth, high-upside role, combining enterprise sales, strategic business development and category creation. In this role you will self-originate and close complex, high-value enterprise deals. Opening senior doors, diagnosing the real commercial problem and steering complex buying committees to a decision from first conversation to signed contract. Buyers are real estate managers, institutional owners and investors, where trust is earned, cycles are long, and no two deals look the same. Expect to work directly with founders and senior leaders, feeding what you learn straight into product and pricing, and shaping how the company goes to market. If building a market energizes you more than working a maturing one, this role will excite you.

Tasks

  • Create the pipeline: Build qualified enterprise pipeline independently through targeted account selection, outreach, referrals, events, and partner routes.
  • Run the full sales cycle: Own long, complex enterprise sales cycles end-to-end, from discovery through value case to close, converting complex opportunities into ARR.
  • Navigate the room: Build credibility and lasting relationships with senior and C-level decision-makers in a conservative, skeptical buyer landscape.
  • GTM and category-building: Sell a category creating product, translating a technical, ROI-driven solution into a clear business case for buyers who don't yet know they need it.

Requirements

Must have:

  • 3-6 years in enterprise sales, strategic business development, consulting, institutional real estate / real estate finance, or complex B2B SaaS.
  • Experience in an early stage or scale-up environment.
  • A proven track record of generating enterprise pipeline yourself, not only working inbound, founder-led, or inherited accounts.
  • Experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder commercial processes with senior and analytical buyers.
  • Excellent, structured communication and executive presence: you tailor the message and earn credibility with institutional decision-makers.
  • A builder's temperament for an early-stage environment: high ownership, high agency, pragmatic and hands-on.
  • Strong business English and UK work authorisation; able to work in London on a hybrid basis with regular client and event travel.

Nice to have:

  • An existing network among institutional real estate buyers (asset managers, fund managers, banks, insurers, consultants, owners, associations).
  • Exposure to real estate regulation, decarbonisation, CapEx planning, portfolio steering, financing, or valuation.
  • Real estate domain knowledge is ideal, but not required.

Benefits

What we offer:

  • Competitive base salary plus meaningful performance-based commission; accelerators and uncapped upside.
  • Potential equity / VSOP participation, with details shared transparently during the process.
  • The opportunity to build the UK commercial engine behind a new category of enterprise AI.
  • Direct access to founders, Product, Delivery and sophisticated institutional customers across Europe, with a growing US footprint.
  • Progression based on revenue creation, customer impact and the systems you help build—not tenure.
  • A flexible London hybrid setup, regular customer and event exposure, and a role designed to expand with the company.

How to apply

Please apply with your CV and a short note covering why this role is relevant to you, one enterprise opportunity you personally originated, and how you would create qualified UK pipeline in your first 30 days.
