About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven, relationship-focused individual to join our team as an Energy Billing Analyst. If you have experience in the energy industry and a passion for data, we’d love to hear from you. New to energy? Although we’d love someone to hit the ground running, we are more than open to considering applications with experience in a finance or data-led role, particularly involving invoicing or billing.
As an Analyst within our Energy Bureau, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. From validating utility invoices and meter readings to producing insightful portfolio-wide reports, your work will directly support accuracy, transparency and informed decision-making. You’ll also manage tenancy changes, resolve billing discrepancies and help ensure our internal systems remain precise and up to date.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a data-rich environment - analytical, proactive and highly detail-oriented - but equally confident building relationships and communicating with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of 2 days in our central Bristol office alongside a supportive and talented team.
We recognise that no candidate will match every requirement perfectly. If you’re aligned with our purpose and bring relevant experience, we strongly encourage you to apply.
- Delivering an excellent client experience to internal and external stakeholders
- Validating electricity, gas and water invoices, including tariff-based checks across all components
- Maintaining accurate energy and client data within internal systems
- Analysing invoices against historical data to identify trends and anomalies
- Raising and resolving invoice queries with suppliers
- Processing and following up on change-of-tenancy requests
- Producing and delivering portfolio-wide reports to clients
- Driving continuous improvement across billing systems and processes
Previous experience as a Billing Analyst and/or a strong understanding of utilities billing and metering (highly desirable)
- Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including confidence using formulas to manipulate and format data
- Excellent communication skills, able to resolve complex issues both digitally and in person
- Confidence learning new systems and adapting as we continue to innovate and improve
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Purpose driven mindset
- An open and approachable manner, backed up by high moral and ethical standards
- Proactive attitude that brings drive, energy and passion to the role
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
- Strong resilience and positivity particularly in challenging situations
- Accountability to yourself and others
As well as our values led and inclusive culture, we also have a great benefits package:
- EV car and cycle to work schemes available
- 25 days annual leave increasing to 28 days with length of service (+ bank holidays)
- Option to buy / sell up to 3 days holiday each year
- Contributory pension scheme (5% Matched)
- Life Insurance

- Enhanced Family Leave policies
- Award-winning Employee Assistance Helpline and Online GP Service
- Annual Railcard
- Annual flu jab and eye test
