We work closely with clients to deliver measurable operational and financial outcomes – not just reports and recommendations.

The opportunity: This is a senior operational role within our Bureau Team, focused on supporting the accurate and efficient management of client utility portfolios. Working closely with Client Services, Procurement, and Metering Teams, you’ll play a key role in managing complex supplier and client queries, validating utility invoices, supporting bureau operations and improving internal processes. Reporting to the Bureau Team Manager, you’ll act as a senior technical point of expertise within the Bureau Team – supporting colleagues with complex billing queries, providing guidance to team members, and helping drive consistency and best practice across bureau operations, reporting and processes. You’ll engage with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure high standards of service delivery while helping clients better manage utility cost and consumption across their portfolios.

This opportunity will suit someone who:

  • Understands utility billing structures and bureau operations
  • Enjoys analysing data and solving complex billing issues
  • Can build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Takes ownership and works proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Wants to be part of a business making a genuine difference

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within the utilities industry, such as an energy bureau, supplier, consultancy or billing environment
  • Strong understanding of electricity and gas billing structures and validation processes
  • Experience handling supplier queries, change of tenancy processes and billing investigations
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capability with experience of managing large datasets and producing reports
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to support and mentor less experienced team members
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate outcomes
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach mindset
  • Confident in learning new systems and adapting to change
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
