About the role: We are looking for an individual with experience in the energy industry with a love for data, detail and building relationships to join us. Should you be new to the industry, an experience of working within a finance or data driven role, including invoicing and/or billing would be beneficial. As a Bureau Analyst, you will play a key role in validating utility invoices and meter readings, generating insightful reports, and ensuring seamless tenancy changes for our clients. We are seeking someone who thrives in a data-driven environment. You should be highly detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in communicating with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Job requirements:
- Previous experience of working as a bureau analyst and/or a solid understanding of all components of a utilities bill or metering would be highly desirable
- Analytical skills with an interest in detail
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the confidence to manipulate and format data using formulas
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss and resolve complex issues with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders alike both digitally and in person
- Thrive in learning and adapting to new systems as we drive ongoing innovation and improvement
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Job responsibilities:
- Provide an excellent client experience to internal and external stakeholders
- Check invoices and tariff-based validation on all components of electricity, gas and water invoices
- Maintain internal systems with accurate energy and client data
- Analyse invoices and costs against previous periods and review and identify anomalies
- Raise queries and resolve errors with suppliers when invoices are incorrect
- Process and follow up on change of tenancies
- Produce portfolio-wide reports and deliver to clients
- Drive continual improvement in our billing systems and processes
