About the role
We’re offering a Data Analyst (level 4) apprenticeship within our Energy Analysis Team as an Energy Analyst Apprentice. In this apprenticeship role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, receiving expert training and support to develop your knowledge and skills. This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who is curious about working with data, naturally analytical, proactive and highly detail-oriented, and who is keen to build strong communication and stakeholder management skills alongside their technical development. As an Energy Analyst Apprentice, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality energy data and analysis while developing the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for a successful career in energy management. Don’t worry if this terminology is new to you—we’ll teach you everything you need to know! What matters is that you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with complex and varied datasets. Strong investigation and analytical skills will be key to your success in this role.

Requirements
- A genuine curiosity about energy, data and analytics, with a willingness to learn and develop within a professional environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency when working with data and information.
- Comfortable working with data and numbers, with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Good IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to manage own workload and priorities effectively, with a proactive and organised approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- GCSE in Maths and English (grade 4 or above).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships both digitally and in person.
