As a Business Development Manager for Building Optimisation, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying and securing high-value opportunities across target sectors. You’ll lead proactive outreach, foster strong relationships, and manage a structured sales pipeline, aligning client needs with our innovative sustainability and optimisation solutions.
Working cross-functionally, you’ll help position Optimised as the partner of choice for sustainable, data-driven building performance. Your impact will shape the strategic and financial success of the business, delivering meaningful results for our clients and environment.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities using strategic, insight-led approaches.
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract, using a consultative approach.
- Feed operational insight back into future business development strategies.
- Stay up to date on market trends, tech, and regulatory shifts in sustainability and energy.
- Champion digital tools.
- Proven success in a "hunter" sales role, ideally within BEMS, energy, or optimisation.
- Confident in structured sales techniques and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with solution-based sales methodologies.
- Eligible to work in the UK with a full driving licence.
