The Role of Sales Development Representative
This isn’t a cold data role. You’ll be working from an extensive internal CRM, speaking with warm, existing and previously engaged businesses to reintroduce the company’s software platform, generate interest and qualify opportunities for the senior sales team. Your role is to create quality conversations and book product demonstrations, allowing the Account Executives to manage the full sales process.
Responsibilities Of A Sales Development Representative
- Contact warm and existing business contacts from the company CRM.
- Re-engage previous customers and dormant opportunities.
- Introduce the company’s technology platform and generate interest.
- Qualify opportunities before booking demonstrations for the senior sales team.
- Build relationships with decision-makers over the phone, email and LinkedIn.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your own pipeline.
- Work closely with the wider sales team to maximise conversion rates.
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in speaking to people who genuinely enjoy speaking to customers and building relationships. Ideally you’ll have:
- Around 12 months+ experience in B2B sales, SDR, appointment setting, business development or outbound customer engagement.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with decision-makers over the phone.
- A resilient, positive attitude.
- Based around the Altrincham area.
- A desire to learn and progress within a growing technology business.
- Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

- £30,000 - £32,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission (OTE £40,000)
