Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Support machine installations, commissioning, and upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Liaise with production teams to minimise downtime and improve machine reliability
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Competence in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience maintaining, repairing and servicing heavy equipment and machinery
- Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (desirable)
- Electrical qualification (e.g. 18th Edition) is advantageous
