Job Description

Are you an experienced procurement professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re working on behalf of a well-established and purpose-driven organisation that is looking for a Senior Procurement Advisor to join their Doncaster-based team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading procurement for a variety of goods, services and capital projects
  • Supporting the development and implementation of procurement policies and strategy
  • Advising and training internal teams on procurement processes
  • Managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving value
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality standards
  • Overseeing and mentoring other procurement team members
  • Contributing to tender processes and contract reviews
  • What we’re looking for:

    • Strong background in procurement and supplier management
    • Experience in leading on policy implementation and strategic procurement initiatives
    • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance in procurement
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Confident managing projects and mentoring others
    • CIPS qualification or working towards (desirable but not essential)
