About the Role

We’re working with a leading engineering business in Glasgow to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for their growing team. This is a days position working Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm with overtime available.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain and repair CNC machinery, manual machines, and production equipment in the workshop.
  • Carry out reactive and preventive maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
  • Support maintenance activities across the wider business, including site facilities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and enhance reliability.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior or new maintenance staff as the team expands.

What We’re Looking For

  • Time-served or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
