Location: Nottingham

Salary: Up to £40,000

Hours: 4 on / 4 off – days only (06:00–18:00)

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical (and mechanical where applicable) maintenance
  • Fault-find and repair plant equipment including conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and switchgear
  • Work safely within a structured shift pattern to ensure continuous operation
  • Diagnose PLC/SCADA faults (no programming required)
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with site safety procedures

Candidate Requirements (Essential)

  • Apprentice-trained engineer (Level 3 NVQ minimum)
  • Proven experience in heavy or process industry
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments
  • Able to work independently and as part of a shift team
