Job Title: Field-Based Electrical Engineer Salary: £45,000 per annum Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate (Mon–Sat) and 2x hourly rate (Sundays) Benefits: Company vehicle provided + overtime pay + standard benefits package About the Role This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of generators. You will work directly on client sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities * Install, commission, and service generators. * Diagnose and repair electrical faults on generator systems and associated equipment. * Perform routine maintenance to manufacturer specifications. * Conduct load testing, control panel wiring, and system upgrades. * Provide technical support and advice to clients on-site. * Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation. * Adhere to all relevant health & safety guidelines and company policies. Requirements * Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent). * Strong understanding of electrical control systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics. * Full UK driving licence.
