Job Description

We’re working exclusively with one of our long-standing clients, a fast-growing, forward-thinking financial services business.

This is a greenfield role within a company undergoing major transformation. The business has recently built a brand-new data warehouse, bringing together CRM and CRA data for the first time. Now, they’re looking for a credit risk specialist who can own the analytics agenda, develop dynamic risk strategies, and shape the future of credit decisioning.

The Role

  • Lead credit risk analytics and build granular, intelligent risk profiles.
  • Create and refine credit scorecards to manage customers across multiple supplier types and lender tiers
  • Analyse customer behavior and lending dynamics to ensure pricing is both competitive and profitable.
  • Build and present narratives for the Credit Committee and board meetings, influencing senior-level decisions.
  • No legacy issues, no unpicking old mistakes, you’ll make this role your own and shape its future direction.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–5 years’ experience in credit risk analysis, ideally within financial services or consumer lending.
  • Strong knowledge of CRA data and how to leverage it effectively.
  • Proven experience building and deploying scorecards from scratch.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, SQL proficiency are essential; Power BI highly desirable.
  • Confident presenting insights to senior stakeholders, including at the board level.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of P&L impacts.
