The Role

They are seeking an experienced and highly capable Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) to join our tax department. This is a key role with significant responsibility for both compliance and advisory work across our client base. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, proactive, and ambitious, with the potential to lead the tax department in the future.

Manage the preparation and submission of approximately:

  • 400 company tax returns
  • 650 personal tax returns

Oversee or assist with:

  • Benefits in kind reporting
  • PAYE-related matters
  • Advising clients on tax payment amounts and schedules

Handle a wide range of ad hoc client tax queries efficiently and accurately

Ensure compliance with current UK tax legislation and HMRC processes

Navigate HMRC systems and portals with confidence

Liaise with clients in a professional, clear, and timely manner

Identify and implement improvements to the tax return reporting process using CCH software

Collaborate with partners and colleagues across departments to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
