Optime Group are proud to be recruiting Aircraft Cleaners for a prestigious client at Leeds Bradford Airport. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company offering excellent conditions and facilities.
What's on offer:
- Rate of pay: £12.41 per hour
- Working Hours: 00:00 - 08:00am (You must be flexible with the hours you work)
- Shift pattern: 4 days per week (You must be fully flexible to work across all 7 days)
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Temp to Perm (performance-related)
Key responsibilities:
- Cleaning of all areas of various sizes of aeroplanes making sure they are ready for their next journeys.
- Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables.
- Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment and surfaces.
- Cleaning aircraft kitchen areas (galleys) and washrooms.
- Removing rubbish and making sure that it is properly disposed.
- Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Security checking of the aircraft and reporting any findings as per your training.
Shifts: The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working 4 days per week and you will need to be fully flexible with the days and hours you can work. This could be subject to change!
The ideal candidate:
- Has lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years or more, as all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC).
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence / Birth Certificate or National ID card.
- This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (8 hours).
- UK Settled Status (If applicable).
- Proof of National Insurance.
- Proof of (current) Address.
- 5 Year Address History.
- 5 Year Work Reference History.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check and CTC following interview in line with CAA requirements.
