Optime are excited to be recruiting Warehouse Operatives in partnership with Avanti Trains. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our train clients on time, in-line with various scheduling requirements.
What's on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
- Location: Wolverhampton, Oxley
- Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7
- Working Hours: 03:00am to 10:30am or 07:00am to 14:30pm
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Full training provided
- Immediate Start
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
Key Duties:
- Carry out accurate daily stock counts across all warehouse areas, including chilled storage (limited exposure).
- Ensure all stock movements are recorded and discrepancies are reported promptly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy to support effective stock management and minimise variances.
- Work safely within chilled environments where required, adhering to all health & safety and food handling standards.
- Support the wider warehouse team with general duties when required, including stock replenishment and organisation.
- Follow company procedures to ensure compliance with audit and operational requirements.
- Contribute to a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
Requirements:
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Must be able to use a computer, basic Excel and communication of English.
- Ability to demonstrate our core values.
- Must hold a valid Passport.
- Proof of National Insurance.
- Proof of (current) Address.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Basic Checking skills.
