Optime Group are proud to be recruiting Aircraft Cleaners for a prestigious client at Manchester Airport. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company offering excellent conditions and facilities.
Start Date: April 2026
What's on offer:
- Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour
- Working Hours: 21:00 pm to 06:00 am (You must be flexible with the hours you work)
- Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
- Hours per week: 40 hours
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Temp to Perm (performance-related)
Key responsibilities:
- Cleaning of all areas of various sizes of aeroplanes making sure they are ready for their next journeys.
- Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables.
- Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment and surfaces.
- Cleaning aircraft kitchen areas (galleys) and washrooms.
- Removing rubbish and making sure that it is properly disposed.
- Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Security checking of the aircraft and reporting any findings as per your training.
Shifts: The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 4 on 4 off and you will need to be fully flexible with the days and hours you can work. This could be subject to change.
An example of the shift hours for 40 hours per week (4 on 4 off pattern):
- Night 1: 21:00 pm to 06:00 am
- Night 2: 21:00 pm to 06:00 am
- Night 3: 21:00 pm to 06:00 am
- Night 4: 21:00 pm to 06:00 am

The ideal candidate:
- Has lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years or more, as all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC).
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence / Birth Certificate or National ID card.
- This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (8 hours).
- UK Settled Status (If applicable).
- Proof of National Insurance.
- Proof of (current) Address.
- 5 Year Address History.
- 5 Year Work Reference History.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check and CTC following interview in line with CAA requirements. PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
