Aviation recruitment experts Optime Group, in partnership with a leading Ground Handling Company at Luton Airport, are excited to welcome talented and motivated individuals to their growing team of Turnaround Coordinators. Join a fast-paced aviation environment at one of the UK’s fastest-growing airports, where every shift brings a new challenge and your role plays a key part in keeping flights running safely, smoothly, and on time.

What's on offer:

  • Rate of pay: £18.71 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: 6 on / 3 off, 30 hours weekly.
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday)
  • Temp to Perm (performance based)
  • Shift timing:
    • Winter: earliest start at 5:00 a.m. and latest finish at 12:00 a.m.
    • Summer: earliest start at 4:30 a.m. and latest finish at 2:00 a.m.
  • (Shifts are between 6 and 8 hours long)

PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A FULL VALID UK DRIVING LICENCE

Key Duties:

  • Ensure a secure and efficient aircraft turnaround process, managing all aspects from arrival to departure with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
  • Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork associated with the aircraft turnaround, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant protocols.
  • Maintain strict adherence to both airline and airport policies, guaranteeing compliance at all times.
  • Consistently provide exceptional customer service to passengers, aiming to exceed expectations and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers effectively during disruptions, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a commitment to resolving issues promptly.
  • Establish effective communication and collaboration with third-party suppliers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring seamless coordination of services.

Shifts: The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 6 on 3 off rolling rota. This could be subject to change to 5 on 3 off!

Requirements:

  • Full Manual Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
  • Work well as part of a team, and as an individual
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Five year fully checkable reference history
  • Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC)
