We are currently recruiting Kitchen Porters across London for future opportunities.

This is a fantastic chance to work in a variety of professional hospitality environments — from luxury hotels and private members’ clubs to restaurants, banqueting venues, and corporate kitchens.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency at all times. What’s on offer:

  • Working Hours: Shifts typically 6–10 hours, depending on venue requirements
  • Days: Flexible across weekdays and weekends, with opportunities for both daytime and evening shifts
  • Environment: Work in professional kitchens within prestigious venues across Central London
  • Pay: ÂŁ12.21 – ÂŁ12.75 per hour (depending on experience and client)
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday)
  • Temporary hospitality positions with potential for long-term or permanent opportunities
  • Start dates to be confirmed
  • Kitchen Safety Shoes required

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Wash pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery quickly and efficiently
  • Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks when required
  • Empty bins, manage recycling, and keep back-of-house areas tidy
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and health & safety standards upheld
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
  • Work collaboratively with chefs, supervisors, and front-of-house teams

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Cleaner, or General Assistant in hospitality is desirable but not essential
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks (lifting, standing for long periods, fast-paced work)
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Able to adapt quickly to different venues and kitchen teams
  • Available for last-minute assignments and short-notice bookings
  • Eligible to work in the UK and available for immediate start
