Vending Machine Operators to join a well-established and successful client at Gatwick Airport.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering a range of shift options, secure long-term employment, and the chance to work in a busy and professional airport environment.

What’s on offer

  • Shift Pattern: 5+ shifts per week
  • Shifts available: 8-hour or 12-hour (shift will be confirmed)
  • You have to be available work between 07.00-19:00
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday).
  • Full training provided.
  • Temp to Perm (performance-based).

As soon as the reference check for the BLUE ID is completed.

Key Duties

  • The role involves supporting approximately

400 vending machines across both airport terminals, following a planned daily route to ensure machines are fully stocked, operational and maintained to a high standard.

  • Responsible for replenishing vending machines across both Gatwick Airport terminals.
  • Technical or mechanical experience with coffee and vending machines.
  • Able to identify basic machine faults and resolve issues while on site.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise machines, tasks and routes throughout the day.
  • Flexible when routes, schedules or business requirements change at short notice.
  • Comfortable with early starts and flexible working hours.
  • Good awareness of health, safety and security procedures, particularly when working within a busy airport environment.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, including safely lifting up to

25kg and using a loaded sack truck.

  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Friendly, professional and confident when dealing with customers, colleagues and other people across the airport.
  • Positive, self-motivated and willing to take a “can-do” approach to the role.

Requirements

  • Organised and able to follow and manage a daily route .

Flexible with changing routes, priorities and working hours.

Comfortable with early starts .

Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg and use a sack truck.

Good understanding of health and safety .

Good spoken and written English.

Friendly and professional when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently .

Positive, practical can-do attitude .

Able to meet required airport security and vetting requirements .

Please note

As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations.

These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
