Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are excited to be recruiting Terminal/Specialist Cleaners to join a well-respected and successful client at Heathrow Airport. This role offers a great choice of shifts. Secure long-term work and the chance to make a difference at one of the largest airports in Europe!
What’s on offer
- Rate of Pay: £13.85 per hour
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 2 off
- Shifts available:
- 06:00 am- 14:00 pm
- 14:00 pm- 22:00 pm
- 22:00 pm – 06:00 am
- Weekly Pay (every Friday).
- Full training provided.
- Temp to Perm (performance based).
Key Duties
- Ensuring equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order.
- Carrying out Damage Control and Fire Watch as directed by the Team Leader.
- Step up to Team Leader when required to cover annual leave.
- Reporting all accidents and/or potential hazards to the Team Leader.
- Reporting any damage and safety defects on the premises to the Team Leader and log where appropriate.
- Ensure all areas within the relevant Zone are cleaned to the required frequency and SLA’s.
- Building knowledge of the designated cleaning areas, ensuring all equipment and chemicals are used in line with Health & Safety requirements.
- Documenting routine inspections.
- Working as part of a team.
- Adhering to airport security processes.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a team.
- Great work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be over 18.
- Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.
Please note: As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
