Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are excited to be recruiting Airport Cleaners for a prestigious client at Gatwick Airport. All positions offer full-time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start!
What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay:
- Day Shift: £12.60 per hour
- Night Shift: £13.65 per hour
Key Duties:
- Cleaning all areas of the terminal (including rest rooms/toilets).
- Hoovering, mopping, and dusting high and low-level areas.
- Working to deadlines set by airport authorities.
- Documenting routine inspections.
- Working as part of a team.
- Completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Using various cleaning equipment in line with training.
- Adhering to airport security processes.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience would be preferred, but isn\’t essential.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Great work ethic.
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.
- UK Settled Status (If applicable)
- Proof of National Insurance.
- Proof of (current) Address.
- 5 Year Address History.
- 5 Year Work Reference History.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
