Become a valued member of our vibrant airport customer service team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to travellers at Liverpool John Lennon Airport! As a Check‑In Agent, you will be the friendly face that greets passengers, helping to make their check‑in experience seamless and enjoyable, all while adhering to our airline and airport service guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide passengers through the self‑service check‑in, boarding gate and baggage processing seamlessly.
  • Check and validate travel documents such as passports and boarding passes, ensuring they meet airline requirements.
  • Process payments for baggage and additional services with accuracy.
  • Oversee passenger queues to ensure a smooth and efficient check‑in experience.
  • Offer clear communication and assistance during any disruptions, delays, or emergencies.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while presenting a professional demeanour and punctuality.
  • Collaborate effectively with airport and airline teams to promote safety and operational efficiency.

The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 5 on 3 off rolling rota.

Estimated Shift Hours for 25 hours per week (5 on 3 off pattern):

  • Day 1: 03:00am to 07:00am
  • Day 2: 04:00am to 08:00am
  • Day 3: 04:00am to 08:00am
  • Day 4: 15:00pm to 20:00pm
  • Day 5: 15:00pm to 20:00pm

Requirements:

  • Valid Passport or UK photo ID (Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, or National ID).
  • Right to work and live in the UK (proof required).
  • Able to stand for extended periods (4–8 hours).
  • Provide 5 years of checkable employment/education history.
  • Basic criminal record check required (post-interview).
  • All candidates must be proactive and willing to undergo the referencing process for this high security role.
