Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are excited to be recruiting for Airport Cleaners to join one of our well-respected and successful clients at Gatwick Airport. This job offers full time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic working conditions and facilities.
What's on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £13.65 per hour.
- Night Shifts available: 18:00pm-06:00am, 20:00pm-06:00am, 19:00pm-07:00am.
- Shift Pattern: 4 ON 4 OFF or 6 ON / 2 OFF - You must be flexible to work both shifts.
- Weekly Pay (every Friday).
- Full training provided.
- Temp to Perm (performance based).
- ASAP Start.
Key Duties:
- Cleaning all areas of the terminal (includes rest rooms).
- Hoovering, mopping, and dusting high and low-level areas.
- Documenting routine inspections.
- Working as part of a team.
- Completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Using various cleaning equipment in line with training.
- Adhering to airport security processes.
Requirements:
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Great work ethic.
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence / Birth Certificate or National ID card.
- UK Settled Status (If applicable).
- Proof of National Insurance.
- Proof of (current) Address.
- 5 Year Address History.
- 5 Year Work Reference History.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements. Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial. PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
