Optime Group are excited to be recruiting Aircraft Cleaners to work with one of our prestigious clients at Gatwick Airport. This job offers a fantastic working environment and overtime opportunities.
What's on offer:
- Rate of pay: £13.20 per hour / £13.45 per hour (For airside driver cleaners)
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off or 4 on 2 off
- Shift Times: 06:00 to 18:00 / 06:30 to 18:30 or 06:00 to 12:00
- Weekly Pay
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
- Confirmed start date: March 2026
Key Duties:
- Clean aircraft cabins to airline and regulatory standards, including:
- Vacuuming carpets and seats.
- Cleaning and disinfecting tray tables, armrests, seatbacks, and overhead bins.
- Emptying and sanitizing lavatories and galleys.
- Removing and disposing of waste.
- Replacing seat pocket materials (e.g., safety cards, magazines).
Shifts:
The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 4 on 2 off or 4 on 4 off rolling rota and you will need to be fully flexible with the days and hours you can work. This could be subject to change!
Example Shift Pattern:
- 4 on 4 off
- Day 1: 06:00 am to 18:00 pm
- Day 2: 06:00 am to 18:00 pm
- Day 3: 06:30 am to 18:30 pm
- Day 4: 06:30 am to 18:30 pm
- Day 1: 06:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Day 2: 06:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Day 3: 06:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Day 4: 06:00 am to 12:00 pm
Requirements:
- Residency in the UK for the last 3 years or longer.
- Full Manual Driving Licence (Preferred)
- Regular Driver in the UK (Preferred)
- Previous cleaning experience (Essential)
- Good attention to detail.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Five year fully checkable reference history to be completed prior to your start date.
- Clear UK Criminal Record Check (Ability to provide overseas Criminal Record Checks if applicable)
