Optime are excited to be recruiting Aircraft Hangar Cleaners for a prestigious client at Gatwick Airport. All positions offer full-time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start!
What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
- Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 4 OFF
- Shifts: 07:30am to 17:30pm
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Full training provided
- Immediate Start!
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
Key Duties:
- Cleaning all areas of the aircraft hangar (this includes rest rooms).
- Hoovering, mopping, and dusting high and low-level areas.
- Documenting routine inspections.
- Working as part of a team.
- Completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Using various cleaning equipment in line with training.
- Adhering to airport security processes.
Requirements:
- A driving licence holder is preferable.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Great work ethic
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence / Birth Certificate or National ID card
- UK Settled Status (If applicable)
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of (current) Address
- 5 Year Address History
- 5 Year Work Reference History
Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements. Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.
PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
