Department: Tool Room Reports To: Engineering Manager Location: Tool Room Stores Main Purpose of the Role: Manage the daily operations of the Tool Room Stores. Key Responsibilities: Support efforts to improve productivity, quality, and work methods as part of ongoing improvement programs. Oversee tool sets used for Heading and Rollforming , working with Production Planning and Shop Management. Update tool tracking systems (e.g., Masterplan and Powerpick ) regarding availability. Get quotes, negotiate prices and delivery times, and manage deliveries. Maintain and monitor stock levels in the Works and PM Stores. Keep the store area clean and organized. Reorder supplies as needed, within budget limits. Health, Safety & Environment: Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and laws. Keep the department clean and well-maintained. Ensure environmental compliance with regulations and company procedures Other Notes: Duties may change over time to reflect business needs. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: NVQ Level 2 or above. D riving licence. Computer literate. Good communication and planning skills. Organized, accurate , and methodical. Reliable, trustworthy, and a team player. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Committed to high quality standards. Experience Required: At least 2 years managing an industrial store or similar (Desirable) Regular use of computers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
