Optimas is looking for a highly driven Senior Sourcing Manager – UK to join our team. This is a fantastic career opportunity to make a significant contribution to a global organisation while working in a challenging and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will: * Develop and implement global sourcing and supplier strategies, and identify and execute cost savings programs * Lead a team of Sourcing Specialists, driving cost savings initiatives and short, mid or long-term sourcing solutions. * Provide market intelligence on commodities, currency trends, and manufacturing practices * Negotiate complex global contracts and build senior-level supplier relationships. * Deliver impactful strategic sourcing reports and influence key decisions at senior leadership level. * Work collaboratively across functions (Commercial, Bid, and Strategic teams) to support growth and maximise value. * Implement supplier rationalisation strategies and margin improvement programs. * Travel internationally to strengthen supplier partnerships and sourcing strategies. What we’re looking for: * A degree (or equivalent proven experience) in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain. * Strong background in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management — ideally with experience in the fastener industry or similar. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams. * Exceptional negotiation skills and business acumen. * Analytical mindset, capable of turning complex data into actionable strategies. * Excellent communication and influencing skills — confident in presenting at senior level. * High levels of drive, resilience, and results orientation. * Multilingual skills (advantageous but not essential). * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
