  • Oversee quality release activities for new and modified products.
  • Manage cost recovery associated with supplier-related quality issues.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, customer satisfaction and operational performance.

You’ll ideally have

  • A Level 5 qualification in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related technical discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role.

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality assurance principles.
  • Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA

  • Experience using measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer and supplier sites when required.

Knowledge of fasteners and associated manufacturing processes would be an advantage but is by no means essential - we’re interested in hearing from Quality Engineers from a wide range of manufacturing and engineering backgrounds.
