Our client, a well-known company in the financial services industry, is looking for a highly motivated and skilled AI Test Engineer to join their quality assurance team, working on cutting-edge AI-driven technologies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity, fairness, and reliability of AI models through close collaboration with cross-functional teams in technology and business.

Only candidates with relevant testing and AI experience will be considered for this role. Candidates must also live within commuting distance to London, where only one day per week is required to meet and work with the other Quality Team members.

Responsibilities & Required Knowledge:

  • Experience in both manual, automated, and AI-based testing.
  • Design, manage, and execute comprehensive test strategies tailored to AI-based systems.
  • Experience with defect tracking and management tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software testing methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify and address key challenges in AI testing, including bias, ethics, and transparency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning (ML) model implementation and validation.
  • Solid grasp of different software development life cycles and AI system testing requirements.
  • Strong understanding of software testing techniques, including exploratory testing, metamorphic testing and pairwise analysis.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
  • Implement best practices in AI model validation and software quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
  • Optimise test infrastructure and leverage AI-driven testing methodologies.
  • Experience with development tools such as GitHub and JIRA.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Collaborate with QA teams, developers, and business stakeholders to align testing practices with organisational goals.

  • 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
