The MIG Welder

Role: As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components while ensuring accuracy and consistency in your work.

MIG welding mild steel components Fabricating and assembling parts to specification Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints Measuring and preparing materials for production Setting up welding equipment based on job requirements Fettling and grinding sheet metal Conducting quality checks on your own work Identifying and reporting any issues or defects Handling tools and materials safely and efficiently

About

You:1+ years' experience as a Welder Read blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Set up components for welding according to specifications knowledge of using measuring equipment to quality check work.

Fettling and grinding sheet metal work.

Quality check finished products.

Manual handling of different tools to complete the job to the highest standards set.
