Location: Warwick

Commutable from: Leamington Spa, Coventry, Kenilworth, Stratford upon Avon, Rugby

Salary: Up to £17 per hour (£19 per hour for afternoons)

Hours: 39 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 15:45, Friday 07:00 - 13:00
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 14:30 - 23:30, Friday 12:45 - 17:30 (Total 39hrs)

About the Company:

Our client is a specialist precision engineering manufacturer supplying high precision components and assemblies to the aerospace and motorsport industries. Operating from their Warwick facility, they produce complex parts to strict engineering specifications and quality standards.

The Role:

You will be responsible for carrying out inspection activities to ensure components meet engineering drawings and customer specifications, supporting the production team to maintain high quality standards.

  • Read and interpret final drawings, stage drawings and customer specifications
  • Carry out first principle inspection for first off and final inspection
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
  • Ensure components meet drawing requirements and tolerances
  • Complete final inspection plans including 100 percent inspection
  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports

About You:

Ideally you will have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship. Experience using CMM equipment such as PC-DMIS would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to support the shop floor with problem solving. Basic maths skills for calculations relating to inspection and measurement.
