Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are looking to strengthen their night shift team with an experienced Manual Turner.
Due to continued growth and increased workload, the company is now recruiting for an experienced Manual Turner to join their night shift operation.
Setting and operating manual lathes to manufacture precision engineered components.
Carrying out self-inspection using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the machine shop.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual turning within a precision engineering environment.
Experience manufacturing components to tight tolerances.
Confident using a range of inspection and measuring equipment.
Capable of working independently and managing workload effectively on a night shift.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Time-served apprenticeship preferred.
Full UK Driving Licence desirable.
