The predicted salary is between 18 - 18 £ per hour.

Location: Leicestershire

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Shift: 08:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Solid Surface Fabricator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of solid surface products, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate solid surface materials including worktops, reception desks, vanity units, wall cladding, and bespoke furniture
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication details, and site measurements
  • Cut, shape, bond, assemble, and finish solid surface products using specialist tools and machinery
  • Perform seamless jointing, thermoforming, and polishing to achieve high-quality finishes
  • Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently
  • Assist with installation projects when required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and installation teams to meet project deadlines

About You:

  • Proven experience fabricating solid surface materials such as Corian, Hi-Macs, Staron, Krion, or equivalent products
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Experience using woodworking and fabrication machinery
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Joinery background as solid surface isn't our primary source of work, so may be asked to work on joinery based jobs
