The Company is an established precision manufacturing company in Tamworth that specialise in gears, splines & threads which are used for demanding & high-profile industry. Due to growth, they are looking to add to their team an experienced CMM programmer with a quality background.
The Role:
Optima are looking for a skilled CMM Programmer with a quality background, to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, evaluation and operation of CMM's (QCT / Mitutoyo Software & desirable state of the art Gear measuring Machine).
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming and use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (QCT and Mitutoyo software)
- Experienced Quality Technician
- Experience of AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017
- Working with First Article Reporting methods (Aerospace and Automotive)
- Utilise the business ERP/MRP system
- Experience of CMM programming & state of the art Gear Measuring Machine measuring
- Experience working with Aerospace / Automotive OEM's
- Working within a team of 7 quality related personnel
- Can produce FAIRs to the requirements of AS9102 and PPAP's (Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5)
- Good organisational skills
- Team player
