The Role
As an EDM Operator, you will be responsible for operating EDM machinery to produce high-quality, precision components for the aerospace sector. Makino EDM experience is preferred, although candidates with experience operating other EDM machinery will also be considered. Key Responsibilities
- Operating EDM machinery to produce precision components.
- Setting and operating EDM machines safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading components.
- Following engineering drawings, CNC programmes and work instructions.
- Setting tooling, workholding and machine parameters where required.
- Monitoring machining processes and making adjustments as necessary.
- Carrying out dimensional and visual inspection of components.
- Using precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.
- Identifying and reporting quality or machining issues.
- Working to tight tolerances and aerospace quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records.

About You
