The Role
As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out basic editing and offsets where required
- Using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges
- Conducting first-off and in-process inspection checks
- Maintaining high quality and housekeeping standards
- Working efficiently to production targets and deadlines
About You
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter Operator
- Experience within aerospace or precision engineering environments preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Knowledge of Fanuc or similar controls advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
