About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the documentation and systems side of quality rather than hands-on inspection.
You will take ownership of quality documentation, ensuring customer and aerospace requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Produce and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102 standards.
Prepare and manage PPAP documentation and customer quality submissions.
Complete manufacturing feasibility studies for new and existing projects.
Maintain and control quality documentation, procedures and records.
Support customer audits and quality compliance activities.
Liaise with engineering, production and customers to ensure quality requirements are achieved.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer-specific aerospace standards.
Drive continuous improvement within quality systems and documentation processes.
About You Previous experience in a Senior Quality Engineer or similar quality role within precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing.
Strong experience producing aerospace FAIRs (AS9102) is essential.
Excellent knowledge of PPAPs , quality documentation and customer submission packs.
Experience completing manufacturing feasibility studies.
Good understanding of AS9100 quality management systems.
