The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead a fabrication team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong fabrication background who can support production, improve processes, and bring fresh ideas to the shop floor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting welders and fabricators on the shop floor
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Planning jobs, labour and materials efficiently
  • Estimating build times and supporting production scheduling
  • Setting, monitoring and reviewing KPIs
  • Conducting regular 1-1 meetings with team members
  • Identifying and implementing new methods and ideas to improve production processes
  • Supporting quality standards and production targets
  • Maintaining health and safety standards across the department

About You

  • Previous fabrication experience or a strong fabrication background
  • Experience working as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Fabricator
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Experience carrying out time studies or estimating
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes and fabrication materials
  • Able to motivate teams and improve shop floor performance
  • Proactive approach with the ability to introduce process improvements
