The Role: We are looking for a CNC Setter Operator to support machine shop operations within a busy manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, ensuring production targets, quality standards and delivery requirements are achieved.

  • Setting and operating CNC machines
  • Making adjustments and offsets to maintain quality standards
  • Supporting shop floor production requirements
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements

About You:

  • Proven experience setting and operating CNC machinery
  • CNC machining background
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Team-focused, proactive and safety-driven
  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent preferred
