Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour

Location: Daventry

Hours: 45 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am-5:15pm
  • Friday: 7:00am-1:00pm

Overtime: Available

The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Press Brake Setter to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a stable, long-term position with regular overtime available.

The Role

Working within a busy production environment, you will set and operate press brake machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components accurately and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating Amada and/or Bystronic press brake machines
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Producing components to tight tolerances and required quality standards
  • Carrying out first-off inspections and routine quality checks
  • Selecting the correct tooling and adjusting machinery where required
  • Completing work safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working area

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience setting and operating Amada and/or Bystronic press brakes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience within a sheet metal or fabrication environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Reliable and self-motivated approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
