We are currently recruiting for a Foundry Operative to support the production process and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading materials and castings
- Grinding, fettling and finishing cast products
- Operating machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Carrying out visual quality inspections of finished products
- Following production schedules and work instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assisting with general foundry and manufacturing duties as required
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, foundry, engineering or production environment is advantageous but not essential
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
