The Company
Our client is a well-established UK manufacturer with an excellent reputation for quality, reliability, and customer service. Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are looking to strengthen their welding team with an experienced MIG / TIG Welder.
The Role
As a MIG / TIG Welder, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality welded components from engineering drawings, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- MIG and/or TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld symbols
- Setting welding equipment and selecting appropriate consumables
- Fabrication duties including cutting, grinding, fitting, and tack welding
- Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous MIG and/or TIG welding experience
- Can confidently read and work from engineering drawings
- Has experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
