Hours: 07:30am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-organised warehouse operation. This role is hands-on and suits someone who works accurately, follows procedures, and takes pride in keeping a warehouse running properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload inbound deliveries and move stock to designated storage areas
  • Stack and store products safely and efficiently
  • Pick, check, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Use barcode scanners to pick orders and manage inventory correctly
  • Meet picking and dispatch targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Assist with stock checks and physical inventories, ensuring correct stock rotation
  • Inspect inbound and outbound goods and report any damage or discrepancies
  • Operate forklift trucks safely and in line with company procedures
  • Follow all health, safety, and security policies at all times
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment
  • Carry out general warehouse duties as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and manage time effectively
  • Experience using barcode scanners and inventory systems
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)
  • Valid Bendi (Flexi) Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)
  • Awareness of ISO 9001 quality standards
  • A reliable, safety-focused, and proactive attitude

Additional Requirements:

Due to this being an HMRC-approved premises, and in line with industry accreditation requirements, successful candidates must be willing to complete:

  • A 5-year employment and address history check
  • A DBS check
