Location: LE12 (commutable from Markfield, Coalville, Loughborough)

Salary: Up to £14.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm

The Dispatch Operative Role: As a Goods In Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring all incoming deliveries are received, checked, and processed accurately. Working as part of a busy Goods In and Despatch team, you will help maintain stock accuracy and ensure materials are available to support production and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies and reporting any issues
  • Booking stock into the warehouse management system
  • Labelling and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations
  • Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy
  • Assisting with container unloading when required
  • Supporting both Goods In and Despatch operations as required
  • Operating Counterbalance Forklift Truck (essential)
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Following all health & safety procedures at all times

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Goods In, Warehouse Operative, or Stores role
  • Experience checking and booking in deliveries
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential)
  • Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a positive attitude
