About the Company

Our client is a specialist composites manufacturer delivering high-performance engineering solutions across advanced manufacturing sectors. With continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of customer projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role

This is an office-based engineering role with regular interaction on the shop floor, supporting production, quality, and project delivery activities. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support engineering projects from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Liaise with production, engineering and quality teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Support manufacturing activities and provide technical assistance where required
  • Coordinate project documentation, schedules and customer requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and project delivery
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

About You

  • Previous Project Engineering or engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong composites or carbon fibre knowledge is essential
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively with both office-based and shop floor teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within composites, motorsport, Formula 1, aerospace or other advanced manufacturing sectors would be highly advantageous
