The Role:

Working alongside the senior fitting team, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and new plant equipment. This is a hands-on role that involves working outdoors and supporting the smooth operation of site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and maintain machinery and plant equipment
  • Identify hazards, defects, and repair requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
  • Assist with site preparation, clearance, and general housekeeping duties
  • Support the maintenance of site security and safe working practices
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation, and Health & Safety requirements
  • Adhere to company policies regarding attendance, teamwork, flexibility, and workplace conduct
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently

About You:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience within a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Able to provide and use your own tools alongside company equipment
  • Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements
  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting duties
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and capable of working as part of a team
