Shift: Monday - Thursday: 11pm - 7am; Friday: 8pm - 2:30am

The Role: We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator Nights to join a busy production team. This is a hands-on role involving regular movement around the production area, monitoring machinery, handling finished products, packing and sorting components, and carrying out visual quality checks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products are processed, checked and packed correctly while maintaining a high standard of quality and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor machinery and ensure production runs smoothly
  • Regularly move between different areas of the production floor
  • Remove and handle finished products
  • Pack finished products into boxes or loose pack where required
  • Sort products according to production requirements
  • Carry out visual quality checks on finished products
  • Identify and report any defects or quality issues
  • Follow instructions and production procedures accurately
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working area
  • Follow all company Health & Safety procedures
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production requirements

About You:

  • Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet and walking throughout the working day
  • Good eye for detail and able to spot defects or inconsistencies
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and accurately
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Comfortable working in a busy production environment
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
