Location: Market Bosworth

Commutable from: Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coalville and Leicester

Salary: £13.00-£14.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: 37 hours per week; Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:15; Friday, 08:00-12:00

The Opportunity

This Production Operative position involves the decontamination and chemical processing of components within a busy manufacturing environment. A manufacturing business in Market Bosworth is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join its operations team. Previous experience is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for someone willing to learn.

The Role

  • Carrying out the chemical processing and decontamination of components.
  • Handling and storing chemicals safely in accordance with company procedures.
  • Undertaking manual inspection duties using standard equipment.
  • Supporting the smooth flow of work through the department.
  • Working closely with production, quality and engineering teams.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Identifying and reporting issues with production documentation.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
  • Carrying out facilities checks and supporting general operational tasks.
  • Assisting with team training and process improvements where required.
  • Additional hours may occasionally be required to meet operational or customer requirements.

About You

  • Reliable, conscientious and hardworking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Safety-conscious, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable using basic computer packages.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn.
  • GCSEs in Maths, Science and English would be advantageous.
