About the Company:

A well-established aerospace manufacturing company based in Nuneaton is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment manufacturing high-quality aerospace components to tight tolerances.

The Role:

As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision aerospace components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting and operating CNC turning machines
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
  • Carrying out basic editing and offsets where required
  • Using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Conducting first-off and in-process inspection checks
  • Maintaining high quality and housekeeping standards
  • Working efficiently to production targets and deadlines

About You:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Turner Setter Operator
  • Experience within aerospace or precision engineering environments preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of Fanuc or similar controls advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
  • Reliable with a positive attitude towards teamwork and production
